October 27, 2014~ Seven Years Ago

Yesterday was a special day. Even in a special day I had to do school! It wasn't that bad. I have been to US 7 years since being adopted. In the evening Mom and I were gone and I requested Dad to think of what we are to do to celebrate, because I didn't want him to forget it. On the way home Mom asked me if ice cream sounded good. I didn't respond and we parked and left me in the car. And Dad had opened the door and surprised me with a start. Later I went in and I ordered butter pecan, but I switched it with mom, because I did not like my ice cream. Then I looked around and saw my brother come in. I was more surprised. My sister going to the wrong ice cream store came and found us. It was a perfect night to hang out with my family. My Dad had planned it out and I was proud of him! He knows what I love.

Fall has been here, the leaves are so beautiful! And the weather has been nice. But it will get cold soon.
All those colored leaves shows God's beauty. I am thankful He painted so many colors in them. And what a creative King we have, always loving, providing, thinking of us, forgiving and much more that. I have been learning many good things about God. He is more than anything you can ever imaging! His thoughts are not our thoughts. He is more than just being perfect and loving. One day will see Him just as He is! I can't wait for that day to come. Are you ready for His return?

Beautiful Is He!

Days Go By

Days go by,
The sun is hot,
The trees are green, but soon will change colors
Flowers bloom and die,
And the birds sing their hearts out.

Days go by,
The sky is blue,
I hear the cars go by,
Especially the truck,
The girl who romanticizes.

Days go by,
Fall is coming,
Things has happen,
Life is blooming,
And it is time to share it, share it for good.
Just a made up poem.

Adventure and Working for the Master

We've been experiencing farm adventure lately: First was the fox! One day I was doing my school work at a dinning table. When I heard my chickens squawking and running everywhere in the field. I quickly got up to see an “orange cat” O wait … it was a sly fox! He was running after my chickens and caught one of the black ones. My Mom and I were yelling, shouting, and whistling from our porch until he dropped it. He jumped on the fence and over and was gone. Although he kept coming back, my Dad was tired of it, he was so concerned about his chickens that he built a 6. feet fence. I kept singing,” What does the fox say?... off course my Dad was tired of hearing it. “ Oh how cute he was!” I kept repeating to them, but they rolled their eyes.

Second: The skunk... was told when I was not with Dad doing the chores. I finished brushing my teeth when Dad told if I wanted to hear a funny story (off course I wanted to hear one) so I rushed down the stairs with excitement. And very soon I started to small a horrible smell that I plucked my nose. My Dad said,” There's a skunk in the barn.” My dog had been nosing around when he got sprayed on front of him. He'd been rolling on the grass. I felt sorry for him. Oh, before I went to sleep it seemed like my room was filled with the stinky smell. Just because my dog was down close to my window. And my dog had left the skunk injured. There was vengeance in my dog's heart. The next day in the evening he caught the skunk, took it outside and finished him off'! Then my Dad said,” After he killed him he laid a distance away from me and watched me work.” I was proud of my dog.

I recently got a job as a Mother's Helper. Which I enjoy very much. And sometimes somebody may call me to baby sit their kids. And one of the kids may play joke on me. For example one day I went to this family. And these two kids, first grader and a preschool. I asked them if they wanted to read a book.

They said ''yes!” excitedly. The boy brought me a book. The book was called Gigantic Joke...something else. I told them to relax but they were watching me intently with their eyes fixed over the couch. I slowly opened the book and their were NO PAGES in it. They burst out laughing as hard as they could. I sat there trying to smile.”That was a big joke!” I told them.

I'm excited that AWANA is starting up soon. Is an event where young children can come to hear about Jesus. Is a place where kids can grow in their faith and love their God with their hearts. And I also started up a choir that is so exciting. Is mixed choir and I'm in a small group. I got a part where I get to start up solo. I'm very excited to learn the song and more songs. In all these events is for the master.

AMAZING

The sky is blue
The clouds are white
And the birds fly across the sky
The trees are beautiful green
The flowers have shapes and colors
And the little birds and breeze love it
The little bugs eat and eat
The butterflies pass by you
And it's fun to watch them go swiftly
Oh everywhere is beautiful
See the birds fly across the sky
And it's green everywhere
This world is filled with songs
This world is filled with beauty
And this world is filled with animals and people
Oh it is so amazing
Oh it is so amazing, Father
So that we may enjoy all of your creation
The sky is blue
The clouds are white
And the birds fly across the sky
Amazing, oh how amazing
Oh how amazing it is
Just for us to enjoy it. By Maria~8-1-2014

Happy To Serve Jesus

Hi, I've been busy or too lazy to write even though I love to write. It is more fun to write in the paper than typing. That's because I like using my hands with pen or pencil. This is what it has been happening.
On June 16 I went to Tenn. all by myself to go visit my grandparents and have my summer vacation. I helped my Grandma pick vegetables and cut bad flowers. I helped my Grandpa pick raspberries and tomatoes. We watched news on TV and watched fun movies. Besides those we went hiking, swimming at my young cousins' house, and horse back riding. Even my grandparents rode the horses! We went two miles ride and by the end our legs were weary even my grandparents! That was the most exciting of my life even though I'm afraid of the horses. I loved my horse, Jim! My parents asked me if I fell in love with him; that made me laugh. It was such a fun time! After two weeks I was completely ready to go home. So I was finally going home.

As we entered our drive way I saw my sister's car and my brother's car. Then it really made me shout with excitement. My Mom didn't tell me that they were going to be there. I hurried to the bathroom telling my brother "excuse me I really have to go" as he had the door opened. Afterwards  I explored around and went back outside for another door. I past the kitchen and went back to the dining room. That's when I stopped in a great surprise. I guess I didn't see it at first. I was so surprised that I did not say anything at first and then I said, "Wow!"  There were balloons on my chair and a sign that said in a big letters" WELCOME HOME MARIA" and flowers on the table. We had ordered pizza for dinner. I was very, very happy to come home, sweet home.

You know, Jesus is so beautiful and so Holy. Nobody deserves to come closer to Him. But I had one of those experience that I never felt before, twice. One when I went horse riding in the woods. I asked Jesus to go riding with me and that we may enjoy our rides together. Yes, He did! I could feel His presence and peace inside me. We talked about the peaceful woods and how beautiful He'd made it and many things that was in my head. I was so amazed how He was willing to go riding with His unperfect child. And another time was, I was lying on my bed. I was talking to Jesus. As I kept talking to Him there was quietness in the room, I knew that Jesus was somewhere in the room listening and smiling, I'm sure. I was so joyful that I laughed aloud. ( I forgot that my grandparents were sleeping, oops!I know that Jesus has a wonderful plans for me, I don't know what it is. When I want to give up, I have to tell Jesus" I trust you, Jesus!"

I recently got a job as a Mother's Helper. I really enjoy serving this mom that I help with her one year old baby. I'm happy that this precious girl likes me. When I get there, she's happy to see me and wants me to lift her up. I sing songs to her and try to talk to her in Spanish.

I've been serving God in His church. I'm with children while the adults are having Bible time. By end I'm exhausted and tired, but also happy that they enjoyed themselves.  It is so fun to help and work with young children whom hopely one day soon they would come to Jesus. Ya, that's my life, always wanting to be active and helpful besides my home.

School is Over! But not Completely Over!

My school is over from public school and all three of my classes I got A's. I learned many things and I had made some friendships. And I am not over with homeschooled. I will be doing it through the summer and of course I will have some breaks.

I've been enjoying being outside and seeing God's beautiful creations. It has been hot and rainy. In the morning I love to hear birds sing through my opened window. And then realize that I don't have to go to school today!

This past week my family and I went to Tenn. To go see my grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and my own sister with her family. We had a wonderful time visiting them.

As we face the day we need God's strength to keep going through out the day. And this is what I wrote when my mom told me that God gives us the grace that we need.

Your Grace, Your Grace O God

Your grace, your grace o God
I'm alive because of you
Without your grace I couldn't make the day
Even if it were sad or happy day

I need your grace to face the day
I need the living food to feed my soul
I need the living water to grow
I can't do it alone without you

When I see my life
I know that is okay and not okay
Your grace, your grace o God
I need them everyday

I need something more powerful
Something that is not going to fail me
Someone who is faithful in all things
Your grace, your grace o God

You grace, your grace o God
That is what I really need
Help me not to waste my life
Please, give me the heart to know you more

Your grace, your grace o God
Your grace, your grace o God
Your grace, your grace o God
That is what I really need

Your grace, your grace o God
Your grace, your grace o God
Your grace, your grace o God
That is what I really need

I've Been Busy

I've been busy: I have a chick named "Sugar". She's been growing with beautiful feathers. She's friendly and tries to run away from me. Only because the other chicks  are telling her so.

My daddy has been gardening vegetables in his garden. He always seem to be excited about his asparagus. The asparagus can't stop growing fast. Daddy tries to give away to some friends. It is not my favorite thing to eat.

At my church I signed up for Teacher Training Course. Maybe I want to be a Sunday School teacher one day.

It has been rainy these days. Everything is growing green outside. I'm still busy with school and I'm finally in ninth grade.

The other day I went to adolescent clinic close to Indy to go see my diabetic Dr. She said that I have to start doing shots before lunch, too. I was sad. My fingers, legs, and my stomach has enough of shots and pricks. There is something that God is doing. I have to trust Him. He knows my life.

The Earth Mourns     by Maria; written March 2, 2014

Through the storm
Through all my pains
My Savior you will be

When I am hurting
When my sorrow grows
You can bear them all

While I am sick
While I am lonely
You're always beside taking care of me

Somewhere war is going on
Somewhere people are dying
And you know it all

Parent's divorce
A man killed
Sadness brings to your heart

The world filled with sin
The present earth shall not last long
When that day comes, you will fix it all

Still battle goes on
Still the earth mourns to be perfect
But you, Oh God, will reign forever

Isaiah 45:21-22

This Bible verse struck me this week.

Was it not I, the Lord?
And there is no other god besides me,
a righteous God and a Savior;
there is none besides me.

"Turn to me and be saved,
all the ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.

                 Isaiah 45:21-22

Before March 24th, my parents and I went to Virginia to visit my sister and her family. Plus for spring break for me, too much thinking in school. we rented a car and I think I fell in love with it. Because I thought it was cool!

We stayed in their new house. Their house needed some fixing. Our vacation was helping them paint, fix electricity, play with their cute kids, pull out the old carpets so that new carpets would be put in, maybe take a nap which I did, work in the kitchen and other things.

Later before we went back home, a Russian friend invited us over for dinner. The family were very nice hosts and welcoming. As we were eating dinner their two year old little boy wanted me to go play with him. He reached his hands for mine, but I told him later. His parents said that he loves girls. One day my Dad said,"Now she has a Russian boyfriend." I was real embarrassed especially when a guest was over our house for lunch. Anyway, it was a fun time and we enjoyed our spring break.

Spring is coming here. And we had lots of rain, our neighborhood was flooded. The Lord knows what His creation needs. He takes care of it all!

Opportunity to Glorify God

Many things are going on. The dog named Angel went back to her happy home. And her pups went a different direction to be sold to families. I had to control myself not to cry. It was sad to watch them leave. But it was fun time having them. That was my job with mom.

My mom had to go to the hospital to have her stent taken out and it was not successful, so the doctors are working on plan B. She is doing better and strong. The rest of my family are doing well. Mom and I are the only ones who have the genes to being really sick.

These days I've gotten opportunities to share the story of my life and about my precious Savior at my school. I felt like I planted seeds. Then days later after having a cough for several weeks I ended up to the Emergency Room. So, I woke up at 3 am which it meant that I had to wake up my sleeping parents. I couldn't sleep sideways or flat. Pillows were around me while sitting upright. So, my caring mom had to take me to the Emergency Room. After tests and X-rays were done, the doctor said that I had Pleurisy and plus I already had Bronchitis. It was real painful so that I just wanted to die. The doctors gave me strong pain medicine and it helped me calm down my hard breathing. We went home around 7:30 am. I was so dizzy and weak that the nurse took me out in a wheel chair. Mom went to get the car and while we were waiting for her, I asked the nurse, "Are you a religious person?" We talked a little bit and I asked her few questions and we parted. (She said that she was.)

At home I threw up at least 8 times. I asked my Father to help me and I praised Him through all my pains. I cried out to the Lord and He heard my cry. I couldn't believe that a lot of my Church family were praying for me. "Wow, thank you, Lord!" I said over and over to myself. I gave all the Glory to my King Jesus.

On February 23 I had a restless night from 12:30-4:30 am or so. But bless the Lord that I am still healing. The Lord is so good!

So far I have written more than 120 songs, which are mostly based on my daily life. This song that I wrote was from a time when I was feeling happy and looking out of my window:

Joyful Day

Today the sun is shining.
Today the sky is blue and clear.
Today the sky is blue and clear.
Today my heart is filled with thankfulness.

Today I am joyful.
Today I am joyful.
Do you want to know why?
Then I will tell you.

Today outside, the birds are singing sweetly, the sun on my face and it's a beautiful day.
I enjoyed watching my Dad work on his truck.
It was good to talk to him about my growing up.
There are so many things to think about.

But today, the most important was talking to my Savior.
Able to realize how much He loves me.
So I rejoiced in my heart.
I rejoiced in my heart.

Today I was sitting on the couch listening to music.
Every time Jesus's name popped into my head.
Do you know? Do you know He even cares for you,
Just like He does for me?

Today the sun is shining and the sky is blue and clear.
Today I am joyful because of my Savior.
The one who heals my diseases.
Today I praise His Name!

The Puppies!

Well... It was fun to have my sister and her family back to Lafayette again before and after Christmas. Reed my two year old nephew is so cute and is growing fast. Eliza not even a year old yet is also growing beautifully. She was fun to play with. My best Christmas present ever was a "cool blue" guitar from my thoughtful parents. Now I am learning how to use and play it. Once I learn it, oh I can't wait to sing songs to my Loving Lord and Savior with the instrument.
Days passed by and Mom and I had an opportunity to serve a family by taking a meal to them. And another day the same family invited me over to hangout with them, while my parents went out for date night out. We had an exciting time together. They are a very nice, sweet, and loving family.
This year Mom and I are taking care of a dog named Angel who gave birth to thirteen puppies.13? Yes 13 I say, but one of them died which brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't bear it; another one almost died, too. Mom said," Are you praying?" "Yes!" I responded. So this is what I was praying while Mom was trying to revive her," Oh God please let her live, show me your power, God if you care for us then you care for the animals, Please let her live and show me your power and I will give you the glory!" I kept repeating it to myself with my heart pounding hard and I was about to cry. Praise the Lord my Maker! He answered my prayer. And I will never forget that day what had happened. Now the pups are three weeks old and growing healthy. And it is exciting to watch them open their eyes for the first time. How beautiful is the Lord's design. It just amazes me! So that is part of my job that I do with Mom.

Isaiah 42: 8 says, I am the LORD; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carve idols.
